COVID-19 – Level 2 (again)

We are operating as normal under Alert Level 2, and pickups are available again.

While orders will be dispatched within our usual timeframes, deliveries may experience minor delays, particularly in Auckland. Please visit the NZ Post website for more information.

We are still accepting orders online and via phone, and dispatching will continue as normal. However, to comply with Alert Level 3 contactless guidelines, we are disabling pick ups from our warehouse premises. Also, walk-ins will not be entertained at this time. Backorders

Our suppliers endeavor to fulfil the orders as soon as they can. Our team will do our best to receive and dispatch them as soon as possible.

If you have an order that is on backorder and wish to cancel, please reach out to our customer service team via email or phone 0508 633 327. We will investigate each case and work with you to find a solution. In cases where we can stop the arrival of stock from our supplier, we will be happy to refund you in full.

Contactless Click & Collect

Order pick-up from our Grafton premises is now enabled. To protect our customers and employees, we request that you do not visit us if you are feeling unwell, have traveled overseas (outside the Pacific Islands) in the past 14 days, or if you have been in contact with someone who has, or is at risk of having, COVID‑19. These measures are in line with current Government guidance.

If you are unable to pick up your order, please contact us. We will be able to arrange for your order to be shipped via Courier Post, with freight and handling fee of $7.00 nationwide.

COVID-19 – Level 3

April 24th 2020

We are now able to accept orders online and via phone. Dispatching will begin on Tuesday 28th April.

COVID-19 – Level 4

March 25th 2020

Following the government's announcement for all non-essential businesses to close, we have decided Need A Part will close all warehouse operations. This closure will come into effect on the afternoon of Wednesday, 25th March.

Order dispatching

All orders placed by noon, Wednesday 25th March, with stock available, will be dispatched promptly before close of business.

Backorders

At this stage, Need A Part’s warehouse operations will remain closed until the alert level is reduced to level 3, which is currently indicated for four weeks time. This will have an immediate effect on any backorders that we have not yet received.

If you have an order that is on backorder and wish to cancel, please reach out to our customer service team over email. We will investigate each case and work with you to find a solution. In cases where we can stop the arrival of stock from our supplier, we will be happy to refund you in full.

New Orders and Enquiries

Due to our inability to fulfill orders during alert level 4, we will suspend the ability for users to purchase products or lodge new spare part enquiries.

We will operate a small customer service team to support you with existing orders and enquiries whilst at alert level 4.
