Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based?

Or, "Are you actually in New Zealand?". Yes! We operate from a warehouse and office space in Silverdale, Auckland.

Are you legit?

We sure are, but don't take our word for it. Sony, LG and Sunbeam all trust us to handle their spare parts. We've been operating in New Zealand since 2009 and have thousands of great reviews on Google and Trustpilot.

Are your parts genuine?

Yes, unless specified otherwise. We source parts only from the official New Zealand distributors; we do not import parts from overseas ourselves. In some cases we may offer cheaper, generic alternatives, but we never pass these off as genuine originals.

Are your parts actually in stock?

We put a lot of effort into being transparent about what we do and don't have on hand. If our website says it's in stock, then it is. We have around 1000 parts that we regularly keep in stock, and have access to many more.

How do I get something that you don't hold in stock?

On our website you may see a product with an "On demand" label. This means we have sourced the part previously, and can get it again. We require you to fill in a short form so that we can ensure the part is compatible with your appliance, and so we can get you the latest price and availability from our supplier. We never give you vague estimates; we always ask our supplier first.

If you can't find what you need on our website, you may be the first person to ask us about it. Submit an enquiry and we'll give you an answer.

Why is this part so expensive?

Our parts are priced relative to the cost price we receive from our suppliers. Some appliance brands simply charge more for their parts than others.

I've found a part cheaper somewhere else -- will you match it?

If you've found it somewhere else, go for it! Hopefully it is actually in stock, and you can talk to someone if anything goes wrong. We're proud of our customer service offering, but it costs money, and our prices reflect that.

Can you fix my appliance?

We're not service agents, so we can't give you technical advice. If you know what part you need and you can fit it yourself, we can help. Otherwise, check your appliance brand's website for your nearest authorised service agent, or have a look at our service agent directory.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, but only to Australia and the Pacific Islands.

Who do you ship with in New Zealand?

We have a long-standing relationship with New Zealand Post, and all parts are sent via their courier service.
